Community & Visitor Centre

The Amesbury Community & Visitors Centre is used as an access point for many local services and groups, as well as giving information to visitors to the town/area.   The centre is run by a dedicated group of approx 12 volunteers and supported by Amesbury Town Council.

There is space in the centre to advertise local groups. The facility is open to the whole community and visitors to the local area, where they can access information about local groups and up and coming events.  A local group can display their adverts free of charge.

Also available are leaflets on visitor attractions and facilities plus information on local walks, activities, clubs and societies.

For sale in the Visitors Centre are local arts, homemade cards and crafts and books on Wiltshire for sale.  Second-hand books are available from 30p, noting that children's books are free!  We are an outlet for some military charities' goods. Souvenir items for visitors to the town include postcards, fridge magnets, pens and keyrings. We have also recently set up a Jigsaw Library. A Shop Local collection point is located in the shop.

The Centre is open Monday – Friday's, 11am to 3pm
