Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Church Street (Part), Amesbury; from its junction with Salisbury Street to outside property known as Kings Arms. B) Salisbury Street (Part), Amesbury; from its junction with Church Street to outside its property known as No.06 Salisbury Street. To enable: Wessex Water to carry out sewer renovation and other associated works.
Alternative route: via High Street – A345 – C292 – C42 – Stonehenge Road – Church Street (unaffected length) and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 23 October 2023 and the closures will be required until 17 November 2023.
