Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group

Amesbury Town Council is in search of residents to join Councillors on its Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group.

Amesbury Town Council is embarking on the production of a Neighbourhood Plan. This is a document that sets out planning polices for our area and can protect local green spaces, encourage better designed places and bring forward housing that generally meetings local needs. We want our Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group to be as representative of our community as possible, to ensure the views of all sectors influence the plan. If you’d like to become a member of the Group and you have skills, knowledge in any of the following areas please get in touch with us.

Project Management; – Familiarity with the Planning System; – Community Engagement; – Marketing, Promotion and Consultation; – Writing, Editorial, Graphic Design; – Understanding of our local housing, transport, the historic environment.
