1st Amesbury Girls' Brigade
1st Amesbury Girls' Brigade is a Youth Organisation that has operated in Amesbury for over 70 years. We are based at Amesbury Methodist Church (during term time) on a Tuesday evening 6.15-7.30pm for ages 5-18 years. New members always welcome.
Stonehenge Striders Running Club
We are an England Athletics and Wiltshire Athletics Affiliated Running Club who run around Amesbury (and sometimes further afield) 3 times a week on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Come and find out if we're the Club for you with 4 free runs!
Amesbury Evening WI
A Women's Institute based in Amesbury that meets on the second Thursday of the month at 7:30pm at Antrobus House. Our meetings have speakers on a variety of topics and there are smaller interest groups (craft, book club, walking, technology etc).
Walking Rugby Amesbury Rugby Club
We provide Walking Rugby for women and men aged 40 plus, we have members in their 70’s. Its a gentle non contact version of rugby - a passing game without scrums a heavy tackles. The emphasis is on fun. All welcome no experience needed.
Age UK Wiltshire Fitness & Friendship Club
The Fitness & Friendship Club is open to all older people in the Amesbury area who would like the opportunity to take part in gentle chair-based exercise in a safe and fun environment. There is a small charge of £5 per session.
Amesbury Community Soul Singers
We are a true community choir who aim to bring together singers of all ages and abilities. No previous participation, experience or an ability to read music is required - all you need is an interest in singing and plenty of enthusiasm!
CTSW is a Salisbury based charity that focuses on providing door-to-door transport for people who would otherwise find it difficult to get out and about. Our services include a Car Scheme, Shopper Minibus and the Amesbury HOPPA Community Bus.
