Larry Evenett moved back to England with his family in August 1995 after serving overseas and quickly recognised Amesbury as being a good place to live and settled here in November 1995.  When Larry left The Army in 1998, he joined the Civil Service and is currently working as a member of a Tri-Service Project Team based inside QinetiQ's Boscombe Down site.  Two of his three sons have also settled in Amesbury and his grand-daughter currently attends Christ The King School.

He has been a member of Amesbury Town Council since 2003 and enjoys serving the community in this way.  Larry still believes that Amesbury has everything that we need - but nothing like everything that we want - and looks forward to seeing that situation remedied in the coming years.
