Cllr Andy Rhind-Tutt is married to Becky. They have four teenage children and both live and work in and around Amesbury. Andy is passionate about the community and is currently the Mayor of Amesbury.  He has been a local councillor and school governor for 11 years, serving Amesbury since 2005.

He is also a Rotarian, devoting much of his time to charity work, helping others less fortunate and raising funds for the Rotary Club to distribute locally. In 2005 he took three months off work to arrange a fund raising event at Wilton House, where 613 guests helped him raise over £54,000 for local causes. In excess of £30,000 of this money went towards lifesaving cancer equipment for Salisbury District Hospital.  Andy is proud to have been awarded the prestigious Paul Harris Fellowship by Rotary International for his dedication and effort.

Andrew Durcan joined Amesbury Town Council in 2008, and is currently the Deputy Mayor.  He lives in Amesbury with his wife, Jane.  He is also a governor at Amesbury Primary School.

John Bright lives in Amesbury and has been a councillor since 2003.  He sits on the Amenities Committee and has responsibility for byways. 

 

 

Chris Burden

Chris Burden was elected onto the Town Council in January 2010. He has lived in the area since the early 1970's and is married to Sue.  They have 2 grown up sons, both educated and living locally. Chris served with HM Forces and upon leaving the Army has spent most of his career in the transport industry.  He has worked as a Civil Servant, and is now employed by Babcock International.  This involves supplying and maintaining all types of transport solutions to the MOD on a day-to-day basis.

Chris is very passionate about local issues, the community footpaths, byways and recreational facilities in particular. His interests include walking, hiking, fishing and motor-sport, and has an avid interest in our local football league from junior to senior level, which he likes to support where possible.

Areas of responsibility: Amenities Committee; Rights of Way signage and upkeep of footpaths/byways

Richard Crook was born and bred in Amesbury.  A local farmer, he joined Amesbury Town Council in May 1964.  He sits on the Amenities Committee and has responsibility for byways and allotments.

Rosamund Cuthbert-Brown lives in Amesbury and joined Amesbury Town Council in January 2010.  She works in Salisbury with children with special needs.
